About Virginie
At 50 years old, I’m a former flight attendant with a lifelong taste for adventure. After a fulfilling 19-year career in the skies, I finally set down my suitcases in Mauritius to launch a tour operator business specialising in tailor-made holidays.
The COVID period was a turning point, as it was for many. It led me to explore a new world: real estate. I started with rentals in an agency, and naturally transitioned into sales. This new path sparked a true passion for the local market and brought me closer to a clientele that means a lot to me — Mauritians, whether living on the island or abroad.
Today, I love guiding families, young investors, and members of the diaspora. My approach remains human, authentic, and committed, with one goal: to help everyone find their perfect “cocoon” in Mauritius..
About Caroline
Originally from Belgium, Caroline grew up in Mauritius — an island she holds forever in her heart. Her deep love for the island, its nature, and especially its people, never left her, even when she returned to Belgium.
There, she began her career in the tourism and hospitality industry, driven by her natural sense of hospitality and service. After the COVID period, she turned to real estate. It was within a Belgian agency that she discovered the foundations of
the profession, developed her commercial skills, and refined her expertise.
Recently, Caroline returned to Mauritius — a move that felt like coming home. She first joined an agency in the south of the island before becoming part of the Cocoon Properties team. As the newest member, she brings freshness, energy, a new perspective, and a strong connection to the island.
